A new beginning for Indian fundraising

Great news for NGO's and fundraisers in India.

Echoing what I've been saying all along, The South Asian Fundraisers Group(SAFRG)has called for investment in training Indian fundraisers in Western practices.

It's about time that Indian NGO's woke up to the HUGE potential that charities can have for change. An organised sector makes a big difference to political lobbying, generation of funds and public perceptions.

I do hope this idea of a virtual academy or even workshops etc is successful. Fingers crossed. It's a great step forward.
